2022 Heat Pumps

Air Source, Ground Source, or Air to Water Heat Pumps

  • Must have an active EEA electric account to qualify for the rebate.
  • Rebate must be submitted within 90 days from installation date.
  • Rebates can be issued as either a credit on your electric account or paid by check. Check payment will require a completed W9 submitted to EEA. 
  • Please allow up to 8 weeks for your rebate credit or check payment.
  • Submission of this application does not guarantee a rebate.
  •  EEA’s Rules and Regulations require you to advise EEA when making any material changes or increases in your connected load. Call EEA Engineering at (970) 564-4406 to schedule an assessment before you purchase your new equipment. Rebates may be denied if you refuse to install required service upgrades.

Ground Source
  • Minimum size to qualify for a rebate is 3/4 ton
  • $1,000 per ton for new ground source systems using either ground source closed loop or ground water source
  • $500 per ton for replacement of above ground equipment while using existing ground source equipment
Air Source
  • Minimum size to qualify for a rebate is 1 ton.
  • Tier 1 ( Standard ASHP with HSPF >= 9.0 and SEER >= 15) is paid $675 per unit for <= 2 ton capacity and $1,800 per unit > 2 ton capacity. Not to exceed 50% of equipment cost. 
  • Tier 2 ( Cold Climate Certified ASHP with HSPF >= 10.0 and SEER >= 16) is paid $1,000 per unit for <= 2 ton capacity and $2,400 per unit > 2 ton capacity. Not to exceed 50% of equipment cost. 
  • $200 per unit additional incentive for central air source with integrated Electric Thermal Storage backup.

Air to Water
  • Minimum size to qualify for a rebate is 1 ton.
  • EER >= 19 and COP >= 4 is paid $450/ton of capacity. Not to exceed 50% of equipment cost.
