Empire Electric Association filed its 2023 Renewable Energy Standard compliance filing with the Colorado Public Utility Commission on May 28, 2024. The filing is an annual requirement for electric service providers in Colorado. EEA met its renewable energy supply and retail distributed generation requirements through a combination of EEA resources, member-owned generation, and renewable energy credits supplied by Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, EEA's wholesale power provider.
