The Washington DC Youth Tour will start in Denver CO where you will spend a day learning about Colorado state government and our electric system. From Denver you will fly to DC to participate in an unforgettable experience that is sure to change your life! Electric cooperatives from across the country will send over 1,800 youth to the nation's capital. You will meet new friends from across the country while enjoying days of planned activities and tours.

The Youth Leadership Camp is held at the Glen Eden Resort in Clark Colorado, near Steamboat Springs. You will make new friends from Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma and Wyoming. Swimming, dancing, shopping, rafting and volleyball - all in one trip. You will learn about yourself and build new leadership skills that you will use the rest of your life.

Youth Trip Applications for the 2025 trips will open on September 16, 2024. Application deadline is December 15, 2024. 

The Washington DC Youth Tour will be from June 16 through June 22 in 2025.  The Youth Leadership Camp will be from July 12 through July 17 in 2025.

EEA has changed the student transportation arrangements for the Colorado Youth Leadership Camp in Clark, Colorado. Students selected to go to leadership camp will be responsible for their own transportation to and from camp. Students will receive a $700 stipend to offset transportation costs once they complete camp.
